    Gael 5th M.O.M

Again that only makes us luckier and I actually said Armstrong was our two best signings (given that we signed him twice during the season) last season so keep making stuff up.

    That only makes us luckier.

    £6-7m sale price?

No. It's for the club to explain why they're selling Ryton and how that falls into a long-term plan for the club. If they clarify the facts readers won't have to make their minds up...

    £6-7m sale price?

Did they? Can't see the statement on the clubs site now but from memory they suggested that that was the condition imposed by RBC and Sports England when it actual fact it isn't.

    Vacancy - Junior Groundsman

And working for CCFC before that. Joined us straight from school I believe.

    £6-7m sale price?

Announcement in three weeks, new year. We've narrowed it down to two sites. We're talking to local authorities, highway agency, environment agency and preparing impact statements blah blah blah. Enough said ;)

    Gael 5th M.O.M

Clearly our player of the season so far. You could argue that he's light weight in a tackle but I don't think even that was true last night. Getting better all the time from what I've seen personally and heard on the radio. Plus he always seems to give 100%. I don't know what more people expect...

    £6-7m sale price?

Why does it have to fall to local media to explain what will happen? Isn't this something that the club should be doing? Isn't this something that the club should have already done? Where does offloading Ryton fall in our owners long term plans (ha ha ha, long term plan's. I crack myself up...

    £6-7m sale price?

Glad you've made that point and highlighted what it actually says. The club have wishy washied over it and many posters on here seem to be sleep walking into Ryton being replaced with a few goal posts in a field near Rugby and CCFC having no first team training ground.

    Fisher telephone call.

They keep making the point of saying before and after every game and every phone in that they're repeatedly asking for someone from the club to come on and explain what's going on and why but the club aren't interested. CWR are making the calls. The fact that TF won't go on is down to him and...

Match Thread Coventry City vs Northampton Town (Checkatrade)

Enjoyable game. Was a bit flat in parts but we passed the ball well and held onto possession for the most part. Bigi was MOTM (not bad considering he's non league standard apparently) worth going just for Reubens goal. I said I was going to enjoy it and I did. :)

Games going a bit flat. Need another goal. We're passing it around nice though.

    £6-7m sale price?

Keep making this point myself. This certainly needs some confirmation.

    £6-7m sale price?

I don't read the CT. It's not them that's made me think that. It's 9 years of what I've witnessed first hand happen to CCFC at the hands of it's owners. Still, let's blame the CT for what we all think.

    £6-7m sale price?

When someone already involved in football at this level (with their own money) makes a statement like that you have to take it seriously. It's certainly more probably than £15-25M. That's just crazy talk.

    Tim Fisher

If Joy wants £15-25M for CCFC no wonder we can't think like them. She must be completely detached from reality if she thinks CCFC is worth anywhere near that. And that's before we even get to the bottom of the cycle. Next time you see Tim on the train get him to point out to her how much Wolves...

Selling players, spending less on replacements, to keep plodding away is already happening. A boycott isn't really going to change that so I guess a boycott is thinking like them. A change of owners in our best chance. Sticking with SISU has only one possible outcome. Do us a favour, next time...

The enemy we know seems hell-bent on destroying this football club. I'm not for thinking like that myself but it sounds like (based on what you're saying) that a boycott of home games and other revenue generating incomes is what's called for. That's pretty much fighting fire with fire.

Rob. You're probably better positioned than anyone else to answer this. Why did they never table a bid for ACL as a means to bring us back from Northampton?

I think it has to be or they'll be a loss of playing surfaces would be in the Rugby Borough. What isn't clear from what I've read is wether it's the playing surfaces that have to be replaced or training facilities for CCFC. Not necessarily the same thing. It could just mean some goal posts in a...
