    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Reading that it looks like you were bang on the button when you suggested to oldfiver he should be less obvious. It was almost like we had a sneak preview of the SCG minutes from him the other day. Only question is who is he? It seems obvious he's either on the SCG or has access prior to release...

    Breakeven

Even the FFP rules are a red herring. Aside from the fact that it only tells you what you can spend not what is being spent there is also ways around it. Fleetwood for example have an owner I believe who injects equity to get around it. MV also made a point of saying that they don't know where...

    Only two people to blame

MV (in stark contrast to last season) apparently doesn't know where our budget falls in the league this season, as he confirmed on CWR on Fridays phone in. My guess is that our budget is the same as last season whereas most other teams in league one have moved forward and increased. Which...

    Could we be the first

I would assume yes as the JR's deal with a specific time frame as I understood it. So I would think that events after that time frame have no bearing on it. Including selling CCFC after the event.

Over a million in legal fees

Got to pay the councils costs as well I'd imagine if they don't win. That's been reported as being over a million as well hasn't it?

When is a takeover, not a takeover

So who are these who are heavily linked to SISUand ARVO? I'm guessing you know as your finger is so on the pulse. They've had a lot of resignation's over the last three years. It's almost as if people and organisations are falling over themselves to distance themselves from SISU. Any thoughts on...

When is a takeover, not a takeover

I have. But I thought you might know in your roll as SBT tax inspector. So are all SISU related companies yp to date?

When is a takeover, not a takeover

So. Are all SISU related companies accounts in on time? Anything overdue?

    Bottom of league one

The boycott working or not depends on one thing. Are SISU struggling financially and if so how badly? If the rumours and conjecture on here have any truth to them a boycott could work. SISU might have to unload us as a necessity. At Blackpool I don't think that the Oystens are in this situation...

    Sisu's cunning plan

Nail on the head there Otis.

When is a takeover, not a takeover

Clearly that was Higgs mistake in trying to agree a price with SISU then. Thanks for clearing that up. If what you say is true no company would bid for anything ever. Sometimes you have to speculate some time to generate some income.

When is a takeover, not a takeover

Depends on who's in with the fan led takeover. I don't think that there's a suggestion the fans will do this all on there own.
  14. skybluetony176

When is a takeover, not a takeover

The sale has been completed so you can only assume yes. Higgs started negotiations with SISU with no proof of funds, they shook on a deal, SISU reneged on it, came back with a "charitable donation" and then couldn't provide proof of funds. To suggest that talks wouldn't happen without proof of...

When is a takeover, not a takeover

If sold unencumbered. If not we're back to the club being worth a quid.
  16. skybluetony176

When is a takeover, not a takeover

Sounds like you just described the very reasons that we don't own the Ricoh or any share of it. Did Higgs ever see proof of funds? No. I'm sure you'll forgive them for eventually selling to someone else then? Thought not.

When is a takeover, not a takeover

The best thing that the Trust can do is put a figure out there. The whole saying the club isn't for sale, ring fencing it with dept etc is very deliberate to deter an offer IMO. How can you play the victim when someone is offering you a way out? Clearly playing the victim is key here, possibly...

Speak to Venus tonight - CWR Phone In

No. I'd rather he be left to concentrate on football at the moment. Which is why I say Tim should be on. I doubt they'll be too many people ringing in tonight to ask about the team. I find MV going on to face the current mood amongst our fanbase a cop out by Tim to be honest. Still, I've come to...

Speak to Venus tonight - CWR Phone In

Should be TF on. Especially while MV is looking after first team affair's.
  20. skybluetony176

    Do the numbers add up?

Trouble is it suits TF and our owners to say that there's a political embargo at the moment. If they really want to they can test the waters at any time by taking steps forward. Doesn't necessarily have to be a planning application, they could start some real consultation on it and involve the...
