He needs to be more consistent. I've said it before, he has spells where he's head and shoulders the best midfielder on the pitch but its too patchy. I'd aim that criticism at Hamer as well. There was as spell against Fulham where they were taking the piss out of the run away league leaders but...

Based on yesterday he early has something to offer but for his own sake he needs more minutes next season wherever that may be.

I think we'll be seeing a lot more of Eccles next season. Think we'd have seen a fair bit this season if he hadn't got injured.

I actually thought it redeemed itself slightly compared to the previous 2 but not up to the early standard. Writing fiction and involving real life characters is always a risk and in my opinion it went badly wrong at times in this case.
