    This beating will be harmful

Each to their own Lille but (presuming you didn't go as your going by reports and in here), Arsenal were top draw and most expected any less! Arsenal had enough first framers in there who could easily make it into Prem sides.

    Ball boy

Ha! His last 'tweet' "I need an Arsenal ticket ASAP". Hope he didn't get one :)

    Support Done Good!

Felt like I'd shed a fair few pounds with the walk from the ground to Finsbury Park. Was nice walking past the old Highbury 'East stand' en route though. Bloody road works on the motorway was a piss take though!

    Just seen the goals

But Murphy did keep the score down to just 6 (and again I repeat all finishes were top class)

    Shaw

They shown the first invader on SSN and I think it was the new assistant fella, and not Shaw who tackled him. Not sure how I got the two mixed up considering they are extremely different looking! :)

Positivity - Coventry's Man of the Match

You appear to have included 'McSheffrey' in a post relating to MOTM. Was this a typo? I do hope so!

    Shaw

I think he was one who tackled one of the pitch invaders so yes, he was!

    Support Done Good!

Great support and a great atmosphere in a beautiful arena it's got to be said. To think they built that all themselves, run it themselves, and still run with financial stability. Oh if we could have done the same! Credit to the supporters though. I know I made digs when the draw first...

    The Cody saga continues...

I recall something but can't remember what. Easier to ask than to search the forum for the post (especially as my battery is dying yet again!) :)

    The Cody saga continues...

I think we could try and guess the reasons begging it, like Contract issues, transfer clauses (if he scores another goal we have to Norwich £x amount), fitness, not showing enough in training. But I doubt we'll ever know, not unless he goes public in expressing his dissatisfaction etc. Lynch...

    Just seen the goals

His pace was a different level to what we can compete with though. If he'd done that more often I'm certain it would have been more than 6

Not set it to record either. Buggar

    Bailey

He sat back more than attacked from what I saw

    Bailey

Looked decent. Few sloppy passes but it was probably first game nerves and in such a big game

    Just seen the goals

We were the othe end and I'd kinda given up watching the game too closely by then That said I still maintain all the goals had a touch of quality in them

Put him out of his misery.........

I'm sure he played in the U21 (reserve) games alongside ROD as a senior player didn't he?

    This beating will be harmful

At sound strange but I think this will only have a positive effect on our players. Conceding 6 against Arsenal (the players knew what they were coming up against) isn't as bad as the score suggests. Some finishes were top class

    Joe Murphy

The boy did well tonight. But like too many, he isn't consistant (although in his case he's usually consistently bad :D) I won't dwell on one performance though. He done well. Now lets move on and see how he does in the league.....

... and still some moan !

I'm sure they were Cov!? Might be wrong though. Definitely looked to come from our end and our fans 'applauded' them so would be a strange thing to do if they'd just been shown the finger

    Without Kevin Kilbane....

Is that a rhetorical question? I don't think he was missed and do think he's played more than enough games already this season. We did appear better in an attacking way without him. If only someone else other than Sheff would get on the end of things then maybe we wouldn't have wasted so...
