    He looked fat and unfit.

    My Thoughts From Today

That was ridiculous. How on earth did Bamba not get a red card for what you quite rightly say was in essence a tirade. Most refs would have booked him and if he then had continued he would have been shown a second yellow. Disgraceful. From that point on the ref lost any respect.

    Nothing to be ashamed of

Nothing to be ashamed of We very narrowly lost to a £15-20m team fielding two 17 year olds and from what I saw having most of the possession - we certainly had them pinned back in their own half for the majority of the first half. We just lacked a bit of sharpness up top. If we still had King we...

Agree with that. As I say, you would hardly have known McSheff was playing today. He did nowt!

    not too downhearted

Young Biggi offers that to some degree. I think he could player further forwards. First 15 mins he just sat in front of the back 4.

Would say that Sheff did nothing. nothing good and nothing bad. He was just anonymous. I counted 4 times where Bell got caught in possession and he also played one or two shocking passes to boot. This is a guy who is supposed to make a midfield tick. Today he just looked disinterested. And...

    not too downhearted

You sure about that. He's hardly played a game for us. We had to play Biggie surely? It was either him or Thomas. What other options were there? And besides, AT has quite firmly come out and said that he sees Keogh as a centre half and not a fullback. Yes, he could play him at fullback but...

    David Bell

Ohh dear. What can you say. Was really hoping we would see a new David Bell this season. Only one game in of course but this was the same old David Bell. Think I counted 4 times where he was caught in possession. He was slow sluggish and had very little impact on the game apart from that one...

    not too downhearted

I'm the opposite. This morning I was quite hopeful for the season and not at all downhearted. Post game I am pretty depressed and am so for 3 reasons. 1. Can't see where the goals are going to come from. Jukebox is excellent at holding the ball up, is strong and a good target man. A goalscorer...

    Seven's Arrogance on SSN

Agreed. Can't see any arrogance in what he's said. Had he said something disparaging about the City then that would have been different.

    Seven's Arrogance on SSN

Maybe. Maybe this is what his backroom staff have told him, maybe it's just a mistake. Let's hope he does think we will play 4-4-2. Let's hope he thinks Boothroyd is still in charge too.

    Seven's Arrogance on SSN

Isn't that just a case of being mistaken rather than arrogant?

    Seven's Arrogance on SSN

Can't see where there is any arrogance there. Surely he's right. They've spent big and every team will indeed wish to beat them as they are red hot favourites to go up.

    Why we wil win today

I am certainly not depressed before a single ball has even been kicked in anger! Got a sneaky feeling that if Baker plays he may well have a stormer. The guy plays brilliantly once in every 5 games or so and I get the feeling this could be his day if selected. Also think Clingan playing well...

    Why we wil win today

Very true, Hibbert. A back four has to develop and an understanding an almost 6th sense (what to leave, my ball / your ball etc.) could take them a while to keep things tight.

Improving our offer for Le Fondre

Well if that's true I don't believe that is a bad offer at all.

Improving our offer for Le Fondre

'ROTHERHAM United expect Adam Le Fondre to be in their starting line-up for the big kick-off tomorrow despite mounting speculation he could be on the move. The Millers have already turned down a bid of £200,000 from neighbours Sheffield Wednesday and a second offer of £250,000 this week...

    Kick for cash.

Well that's what I think. No idea why everyone tries to give it such a big wellie! A lot less accuracy that way.
