Grimes came in 6 months before Sheaf left. By not replacing Sheaf with another body we have not been able to rest Grimes even for 15-20 min at the end of a game when we were 2,3,4 goals up never mind a full game.

It's not defeatist. I'm just disagreeing with your opinion on a player. He's the stereotypical good in the Championship not good enough for the Prem. In the season he played in the Prem he scored 2 goals. In the last 4 seasons he has missed 50 league games which is a similar amount Sheaf...

Vik is never coming back here. He left Sporting as he wanted to play Champions League football for a club who had a chance of winning it. All Arteta has done is praise him for what he brings to the team. He's not going from a Premier League winner to a relegation battle if we go up.
