    Biggest Transfer Shock

Not sure if the link will work: These are the accounts y/e 31 May 2001 There is reference to £10m profit on player sales, though it isn't particularly clear how that figure is arrived at. However, it just looks like the £10m profit just paid off operational losses the club was making. There...

    Biggest Transfer Shock

I think it's covered in the Rick Gekoski book 'Staying Up'. Lennon was put out when Atkinson asked him if he could head a ball. It made him feel like Atkinson didn't take him seriously.

It's curtains for any home fixtures that weekend

    A house through time

Nice one, will give that a go. On a similar theme, read an excellent book by Richard Benson on similar lines about a family who lived in the South Yorkshire coalfield: Thoroughly recommend that and another one he did about a farming family.

    80s Live at the Ricoh

This legendary star has been added to Ricoh 80s Live line-up Have to laugh at Nick Eastwood: Alexander O'Neal played the Willenhall Social Club the other year. 40 quid indeed. Edit, realised it only an early bird price, £49 plus booking fee!

I know the Oldham manager has said Davies isn't for sale, would this signing change that?

Wigan / Wolves interested in Ben Stevenson

Not sure if that is strictly true. Also, we've got to think about next season.

Wigan / Wolves interested in Ben Stevenson

He's shite and we'd be better off signing a League 2 lump like Akinde apparently

This is the week - Next season's home ground

I don't know, I can certainly see their point but it assumes that staying at the Ricoh is completely within SISU's gift doesn't it? That said, public negotations and statements from SISU are usually ridiculed anyway, lets hope no news news is good news. Remember that they kept the return to the...

    Is Dongonzalos Gary Hoffman???

Grendel bumped the thread then I read that comment and found it most amusing. I don't think I posted on here then. Good humour never goes out of fashion.

    Biggest Transfer Shock

I wasn't really that surpised about Bellamy, there were always signs of his talent but we effectively became a season of rehabilitation from injury for him. He was bought as potential and sold as potential.

    Biggest Transfer Shock

The Whelan sale must have due to his personal issues. He was out of shape but still potentially had years left in him, think he was only 25 / 26.

    MK Dons forum

They remind me of the people on the Wasps board. Utter cunts, let's hope both franchises go bust

You can use an Espresso pod for long drink anyway. Have you got the Aerocino?

    Coffee Machines

Nice one. I've been thinking about getting one. Agree on the pods too. Packaging for everything is ridiculous.

Things that are wrong with football thread

3 competitive tournaments that all had esteem but UEFA sold out to the influence of advertisers who wanted a premier product. The Champions League is a joke and they've ruined the Europa following that format.
