He didn't sign until a few games in tbf. He has done well but I see no reason why he should automatically come back in. McDonald made a mistake on Friday yes, but like you say he and Willis have been otherwise pretty good.

They probably see him as the new Barry Fry, very similar in many respects, not least the why have one fried slice when you can have eight mentality.

Not that smart, what sort of English is "disappointed by the outcome of today's result"?

Tempted to drive down for the game tomorrow, don't usually do midweek home games due to distance. In pissing Leeds tomorrow though which is a traffic nightmare.

Because it's the wrong message. Like somebody said, the atmosphere for Accrington was flat as very cheap offers don't necessarily mean you have fans who really want to be there.

I'm saying they shouldn't need a special offer to entice them to a game like this

We've been in the top 7 for 90% or more of the season.

Actual Carl Baker Day - It has happened!

I see what you're saying but doubt anybody would have signed him anyway. He's signed here as its convenient for both parties

Why should it always be a bribe, not as if anybody other than diehards have paid in all season? The fixtures have been planned all year, not that difficult to book ahead knowing that one way or another these last few home games are part of a promotion push.

Why? We ideally want them to come to the Ricoh for a win. We're much better when teams open up a bit

Match Thread Coventry City vs Stevenage Match Thread - Friday 20th Apr

I think regular Friday night games might help reinvigorate fans a bit. It's a bit of a novelty and less like going through the motions. It did Stockport County and Tranmere brilliantly in the 80s and 90s, admittedly they were battling to win supporters of nearby big clubs.

I doubt very much that'll be on his priorities list, or that it would be that lucrative.

The argument I would put back, if I was in Linell's shoes, would be: "If you've only effectively seen the match through our eyes as commentators, what do you have to add to the conversation?"

Nearest free on-street parking for the Ricoh?

The Blackburn Road industrial estate off Longford Rd. Still a decent walk mind.
