    Observations from today...

Ridiculous. Where's the genuine public interest in imprisonment for letting off a firework in the open air?

    Sisu

Yes, there was an administration which produced a CVA, Otium purchased the assets of CCFC Ltd which was subsequently liquidated.

    Sisu

Yes it was in the end but the key is that the Golden Share was transferred to Otium Entertainment Group, following a CVA with CCFC Ltd's creditors (of whom SISU were the majority). I think the rules have changed a bit now so not sure if whoever you're talking about is applying current rules...

Indeed, I think the Tories were never a fan of the council shareholding in ACL

As much as I have no time for Lucas and cronies, I think the reality is that their decision making is led by their officers (that's Martin Reeves and Chris West primarily). We know from statements in the press that it'd have been no different had we got a Conservative led council, they'd have...

Not sure about that, United's year on year turnover and profit grew even when they weren't in the Champions League (EBITDA up to £191.9m at 30 June 2016 from £120.3m at 30 June 2015). The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

We have higher standards than the EU generally. As with every post on here, the pro EU bunch come at it from the false position that its EU regulations that stop us racing to the bottom for everything. Forgetting that the UK started the animal welfare movement with the RSPCA. You're right that...

Is there a future for the kelly-evans brothers?

Shame as both of them have got hearts that belie their diminutive stature.

They signed contracts some months ago, possibly before the issues over the bond etc became public. How long is it since they dropped the AHC project?

Who is going to take on those retail bonds though? Unless somebody could agree an early settlement with the bondholders?
