Midfield area isn't ideal but by retaining Andrews it suggests he will get minutes Forward areas hasn't been significantly weakened really Would've liked a loanee who covers all forward areas but it isn't the end of the world

Allen , Bidwell and Lati are adequate squad players. None are now first choice back up which means we have strengthened in those areas but all three are adaptable to various roles when needed

It does seem in hindsight we had to lose a player in the window . Looked like MvE for large periods ,so not a total shock Sheaf left . Really pleased MvE has stayed as he is flying at the moment

Weren't we linked with Lewis at some point?

Eccles still has plenty of scope to improve and last season we saw him play more advanced

I think with Woolfenden, Thomas and Kitching we play 4 atb, if we lose 2 of them then 2 from Lati,Perry and Bidwell come in

Think we will switch to 3-5-2 when injuries kick in . And see the usual suspects are writing off two midfielders who have already been a part of two playoffs squads . Not the greatest end to a window , would've hoped for at least one more loanee but certainly not the worst by any stretch

If they are relegated by the start of January they've had a stinker

Not every signing is about profit . Look at Brighton who signed Milner and Welbeck to add to their youthful squad , it's about balance and readiness to play regularly
