    This was kind of my feeling too. Think we can ignore most of the defeats as it is plain to see what Thorn has to work with. What we don't need though is more baffling stuff like on Saturday where we just sat back and said to Burnley, go on then see if you can get a second.

    Have totally backed Thorn and don't want to see him sacked. What happened on Saturday though I found very worrying. Plain for all to see from the stands what needed to happen. Why on earth Thorn couldn't see that I have no idea.

    Been a bugbear of mine for an eternity. All you are doing when bringing 10 men back is clearing the ball out straight back to the opposition. i noticed when we played Reading that at one point for a corner they left two men up. Fair play to them for that.

    That's spot on. At least with Baker or Sheff they offer some kind of goal threat. Bell is not suited to this role.

    Bottom line is that we have no idea whether Thorn is a good manager or not. Too early yet. If he makes more mistakes like he did on Saturday though and we could know sooner rather than later.

    I too had us down for defeat on Saturday. Think you'll find it's called realism rather than negativity.
