Where Would You Like To Live ?

My wife's aunt used to live in a lovely house at the foot of the Great Orme in Lladudno, inexplicably sold it to move to Prestatyn! That said, the house there is nice too. Angelsey is nice as well. I'd happily live in any of the northern national parks including the Peak District or Snowdonia.

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

I'd accept that justification if there wasn't an improved contract offer on the table or that Reading are not just another club who might dump in at the first opportunity.

    Replacing McNulty

Couldn't break down 10 men. Not good enough for where we want to be

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

In our case: Keane and McAllister King Armstrong (admittedly a loan expiring) All led to relegation. It is difficult to replace all those goals and assists. That said, the players we have signed and Andreu coming back might point to having a different type of player to McNulty up front.

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

If I was bidding for a player I'd ask that he didn't take part in training for fear of him being injured. Surely the player would also want to be shown around and agree personal terms (unless this has already been done?)

    Callum Wilson

On the other hand it might be a way of Bournemouth maintaining his asking price

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

Any examples of where a team prospers immediately after losing their top scorer? We've been relegated every time it has happened to us in my memory!

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

What the fuck are you talking about? Robins stayed loyal to him despite his non-scoring form, as did most of the fanbase (a few comments on social media isn't the end of the world). This is how he repays that faith. It leaves a very very sour taste for me.

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

I don't think comparing sale prices with the pitiful values we've received for players previously really works. We should have held out for as much as we could possibly get.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Chaplin has a degree of potential, it would feel like a step back for me.

    Fixture clashes....

Most definitely. They won't want to play on a Saturday immediately after a CCFC game as those people or traitors who attend both may not bother with the 2nd game. They won't want to play on a Friday night due to the number of fans they have coming in from elsewhere, and the fact that the free...

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

At least we'll get a significant fee for McNulty, rather that scratching around hoping for a bit of luck with another loanee.
