    Stomach turning

How honourable it is to attack women and children due to bringing shame on the family. They and their traditions belong in the dark ages

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

I like Doyle, spent a bit of time injured as well. I think he might have played under Robins at Scunny. Paddy Madden? Edit: that's bollocks as Doyle has never played for Scunny

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Someone's got the wrong specs on too, or if he was seen at Pompey's training ground he should have reset his satnav! Of course Gary Johnson has a strong connection with Brizzle City, doesn't he. Not least of all his son is the manager isn't he

    Match Thread Stevenage Match Thread

I don't read a lot into pre season but slightly concerned about trying to change the system, reminds me of when we tried to implement the same a few years back and really struggled.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Not really, better to have let him go early and got the money in the bank. Far worse would have been to hold on to an unhappy player who wanted away and been forced to sell late in the window. I am sure Robins is working behind the scenes to get a replacement in.

Pub games and social life these days.

Without wanting to sound all conspiracy theorist, the establishment don't want people socialising with each other, much easier to have people at home ordering stuff off the internet (including beer) being completely supine to what's happening

You agreed in your words 'word for word' with a post that advocated selling McNulty in January

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

You implicitly agreed with a post where London Sky Blue or whatever he's called suggested that we get rid of McNulty in January, the evidence is damning! YOUR RESPONSE:

TBF to Harvey he knows a striker, he wrote off that donkey McNulty last November.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

The same old shite. He isn't a cast off? If he was a cast off we'd pick him up for free. He doesn't fit with the way their manager wants to play. As for aiming higher? Who and what could we realistically afford? Chaplin will be a gamble but an investment in a player who isn't the finished article.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

We do need a striker that will get 15 goals +, it's very rare that a team prospers in this leagues without one.

Pub games and social life these days.

There's a Comrades club near me (over the other side of the hill from you). It's £2 a year to be a member (though you can drink in there anyway), really nicely kept little club and a degree of respect for others in there. It's got games teams as well.

    Killed by my debt

It is personal pride isn't it? The key message was the start where his family had said how proud they would be of him earning (and the value of the OTE that the courier company had conned him into believing he'd be earning). That set the scene really. City Sprint, the company made net profit...
