    Muslim Coventry City Players

He's from the Berber community. Large swathes of which are Christian. Most Christians in Morocco are also Berber so it's not beyond the realms of possibility. Plus I'm fairly sure I recall it being brought up at the time he signed.

So basically we're going to have to have an EU style protectionist trade arrangement with our trading partners is what you're saying. Tell me, are we in a stronger bargaining position on our own or as part of the EU block? Is Japan going to upset the second largest importing country (Germany) of...

Wasn't either Chippo or Hadji a Christian? Pretty sure that they weren't both Muslims

You're conveniently ignoring or maybe blissfully unaware of what is happening in the euro zone. Aside from the fact it's economy has been performing better than predicted the big change due to happen in 2018 is an end to the quantitative easing program that's been going on for years now of the...

We would have had it anyway. A deal between the EU and Japan was signed last year to phase out import tariffs between the two. The UK deal is also an interim deal not a permanent one. At the end of the day the car import market into the EU is worth over $170B from the six biggest importing EU...

    Transfer Rumour #CARLBAKERDAY

Dads are supposed to be your hero as a kid. I'm sure any kid who's dad is a professional footballer supports whatever team their dad is playing for at any given time and wear the colours that their dad currently wears with pride. Nothing odd in that.

RCC was definitely over confident but Burge has come on leaps and bounds. Especially since Wembley. Thought he was good Tuesday night against opposition who in theory should be better than anything we come up against in the league. He was very vocal from start to finish, his kicking was good...

Everyone will bow down and kiss our ass remember. Including the EU as Germany won't risk not selling cars into the UK. That's what everyone supporting out was telling me. Not happening so far. Seems the best we can hope for is identical deals we already had in place as a member of the EU and a...

Wouldn't go as far as to say dire but I do think sections of our fan base got so obsessed with how bad they think Burge is they convinced themselves that RCC was better. Which he isn't. Wouldn't have been bothered if he'd stayed as number two but he would have been just that as out the two only...

Transfer Rumour Tom Davies - Pompey

It made a difference last night when Andreu played more midfield second half and started linking play up. Might be his best position for us based on last night.

Transfer Rumour Tom Davies - Pompey

Benno was class on CWR last night. Not sure what his live match commentary was like but he made the drive to and from the game entertaining.

Transfer Rumour Tom Davies - Pompey

From MR's post match interview last night he seemed to pretty much rule out getting another striker basically saying that the issue was service to the strikers we already have.

The lengths people will go to so they don't outright condemn right wing extremism is staggering. Is there a subject that hasn't been touched instead of condemning it now?

Robins has just said on CWR that we may have just won the lottery. He wouldn't be drawn on names though

Match Thread Coventry City - Shrewsbury Town Match Thread - Tuesday 29th Aug

Glad we turned it around second half. Bodes well going into the next game knowing that we can turn games around after the last two results. Couldn't do anything about the third goal. It was a very well taken free kick from a dangerous position.
