Wasnt the case at Rochdale when he scored two very good goals, you must have missed it, it was a shame the linesman couldn't keep up with play. Of course he has diferent attributes to Armstrong, but still a decent player to bring in. No two players are identical, you need to be less pessimistic.

Not saying such a player didn't exist, but don't think TM needed him. I think he was illustrating choices managers have to make and how players do become available....so it is good to hold some budget back.
