    Running out of steam

We are tiring badly in most games. My slant on it is that I think we are playing players who are not 100% fit through needs must situations. There then is also the reality of playing kids who are just not used to 90 minutes of matches of such intensity week in week out. Bottom line once again...

    Administration

GMK had this rumour on Friday. Guess it has just gathered steam since then.

We have a damn good team, all we need to do is score goals

We play like that every week and we will have a real chance. The key here is to put those sort of performances in against the likes of Barnsley and Peterborough and Doncaster and Watford and Bristol City and co. Do that and we will win more games than we lose. While I like the initial post...

    Everyone happy in defeat?

Errr, haven't you been one of the ones saying we have been unlucky in other games this season when we haven't been unlucky at all, Paxman? Yesterday however, we were unlucky.

    Bigi

No imagination? You serious? I recall at least two or three near brilliant defence splitting through balls into the West Ham penalty area that were inches away from hitting their target. Thought he showed loads of imagination and creativity yesterday. Ohhand best player on the park was Connor...

    RATINGS FOLKS v West Ham

I just think it is a shame that it has taken this long into the season before we have been up for it and showed any passion and fire and closed and harried the opposition.

    Minute silence

From what I saw it seemed to be West Ham fans in the concourse, probably unaware what was going on in the ground. Sure the noise came from there because stewards were looking down the fans entrance tunnel as soon as the noise started.

Maybe I should try a different product then. Only tried the one and it only came up with two choices. Amazon gave me 3 pages of choices, exactly the same make and model and was much, much cheaper to boot.

If you continue to make mistakes...

Completely agree. They were always going to have their moments today. thought we did brilliantly to contain them and keep them on the back foot for so long.

    Michael Brown

Good point. Can't see Thorn will drop Clingan and he can't drop Bigi as he looks our best player at times and Thomas was outstanding today. Don't know where he would fit in.

    Agree. Sheer fluke.

If you continue to make mistakes...

Agree normally, but what mistakes though today? Foul on Keogh? Fluke goal that was just pure ill luck?

    Everyone happy in defeat?

Whatever anyone thinks of individuals Cranie and Keogh ARE the best central pairing.

    Everyone happy in defeat?

That's exactly it. Sheff HAD to go off as he was in danger of earning a red card. Christie's legs had gone. It was either Wood or Cameron and Wood has a knack of scoring up the other end of the field so the right choices were made. I'm pretty sure they were all knackered as they worked so hard.

CWR IAN - Is He Real

Can't fault any player today. Valiant effort by all!

    Everyone happy in defeat?

Have been critical about Thorn's subs before, but not today so much at all. Fact was, Sheff was already booked and then went on to commit a further two fouls in the 2nd half. Convinced Thorn took him off cos he looked like getting a 2nd yellow. Cranie was struggling a little after the first half...
