The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

WTO means we’ve shafted ourselves. You’re really struggling here. We’re in the EU it’s leaving that is giving the EU the opportunity to shaft us.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You think we’re going to be able dictate terms to the likes of the USA and India? We need them more than they need us. If anyone is dictating terms it will be them. Inferior unethically farmed meat product from the USA and more migration from India. If you’re suggesting we should tell them to...

And that advances us how? You’re making a very good case for remain here.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

If we don’t sign it we default to WTO which doesn’t benefit us. Struggling to see the gain here. Maybe you could explain?

That’s the other danger of course if the brexit negotiations with the EU are anything to go by.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

EU trade deals are designed to protect it’s member states. That did include us. It protects us against inferior cheaper products such as American beef and poultry protecting our farm industry. The EU can achieve this against the mighty USA because it’s the worlds biggest trading bloc and has...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

They’re better than WTO which is what we’ll be mostly defaulting to when we leave. We’ve then got to negotiate a trade deal with pretty much everyone. Do you think we’ll be able to make better deals than we were enjoying as part of the EU? Because that’s the real test here isn’t it? Anyone can...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Aren’t the EU and Australia about to start trade negotiations? That leaves Russia and Antarctica from what I can see, maybe North Korea.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

How does no longer being able to issue an EU C of O depend on a trade deal with the EU? We won’t be in the EU and that’s the problem.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Building quality is how the company I work for has survived. Good old fashioned belt and braces engineering. Some markets that moved away from it for fancy new technologies are gradually moving back as the old fashioned technology had a design life of 25+ years whereas the newer cheaper...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Our goods were I work have always said made in the UK. That isn’t the problem. The problem is that made in the U.K. will no longer mean made in the EU. and at times that’s going to deny UK companies access to market.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The stock markets didn’t crash because the the pound did. The top companies in the FTSE are international and when they convert foreign currency back to pounds it inflates their profits. Yes our goods in effect cheaper on export but the flip side is that our imports have become more expensive...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It used to be but it’s getting smaller all the time. Countries like China and India are very different from when we joined the EU. The world is a far more competitive place and we aren’t the trading powerhouse we once were. In terms of manufacturing we’re tiny compared to pre EU levels.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It does but it’s not the be all and end all. We get quote requests from all around world and the specs regularly state that all goods supplied must be accompanied with a UK or EU certificate of origin. However more often than not it’s just an EU C of O. What do companies like I work for do in...

Where have I said I want it to suffer? I see it suffering and see it is going to continue to suffer and I am complaining about it you moron. If brains were dynamite you wouldn’t have enough to blow your nose.

That’s exactly the problem. I struggle to understand how anyone fell for it and continues to.

What a load of garbage, hate this country. What a absolutely moronic response. Has it never dawned on you that actually people are angry about brexit because they love this country. Probably not, you moron.

Yes I’m aware of that. But they’ve never had to cope with 12 million non EU brits before as they’ve always gone to the EU desks. The scenario is that 3 plane loads of Germans arrive at the same time as 3 plane loads of Brits. The Germans go to the multiple desks for EU passport holders while...
