The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

There is also doubt over the long standing assumption that everybody in the south wants to unite with the north. Would the south want to take on some of the public spending obligations? I doubt it very much as Ireland has lower levels of taxation than the UK.

We've just won 5 on the spin, relying on a striker to score all our goals is useless. We're spreading goals around which is far far healthier.

EEA was written off by May's red lines nonsense. The EEA was always the easiest direction for the UK to head towards. I think that clause though can only be enacted for certain reasons, not just because we want to cap numbers. I might be wrong though.

    Appeal Dismissed

Have a day off. I compare the two regularly. It's funny, SOME people on here used to compare owners and staff to say how great Wasps were...."If only...." I have said all along they're no different to SISU, I am being proved correct.

The Treaty of the Functioning of the EU (The 4 freedoms) The Public Contracts Directive State Aid rules These are all primarily about opening up (consumer / public/ labour) markets to corporations which has helped lead to Brexit.

Simplistic and not really true as the SDLP has mostly been more popular than SF. Likewise the UUP have mostly achieved more votes than the DUP. Both more moderate.

That's the irony of their apparent policy of alignment with rUK on Brexit, they pick and choose what they like when it comes to other subjects.

No deal is no good for the DUP either, how can they vote against May's proposal in reality? They'd finish themselves (which is good).

It's a capitalist club that throws the odd bone in to make it look as if it has some degree of care for citizens. It certainly isn't socialist and only a moron would think otherwise. They way it behaves at times is comparable with the way any federation would including the USSR, but that's just...

But they don't. Why are public services such as NHS open to competition and bidding from private companies? It isn't solely because of the Tories. The EU drives all this, it's a big part of the concept of a single market. I'm afraid some people naively think a single market is all nice stuff...

I read something from Faisal Islam on Twitter, apparently the Attourney General has said there is no unilateral option to leave the customs union, so it's as good as permanent.

The young have a deluded view of the EU as some sort of protection against big greedy corporations (not that our own government are either) when they're really its an enabler of them.
