I don't know if it's just me but this was my observation: First half he was getting in behind, giving them plenty to think about. His pace had them frightened, bit like the Sweden game. Second half he seemed to start coming deeper again, which completely negated his pace.
It was like a throwback to 2 years ago at some points with the going backwards. Earlier games we didn't seem to do it so much, but it just wasted some good positions tonight. Frustrating.
If you don't take your chances, chances are you will be punished. We should have been 3 up at half time, and that would have been game over.And as for criminally going to sleep so often at the back, well, how many wake up calls do you need?
