What on earth is going on!? Spain are having a shocker, and Sterling with 2 goals!?

Could have been a third, somehow Sterling's shocker of a pass turned into a great attacking move. Not sure how, but there you go.

Well taken by Kane, good ball too. Rashford doing considerably better than on Friday this time.

Who is this Sterling? Can't be Raheem. That would have been in the Keeper's arms if it was. I'll not believe it! It's humbug!

My first away game was Walsall in January 2004. I don't recall how, exactly, but somehow my Dad had got executive tickets. Something to do with someone he knew through his work, I think. It seemed like a good idea at first, six of us, smartly dressed, sitting in the executive area of the...

Why don't we nip this in the bud now? Let's just call him Andy and be done with it.

Match Thread Charlton Athletic vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 6th Oct

Think that's his biggest issue. When he's on it, his abilities are clear to see. Look at the Sunderland game. But when he's not, he doesn't influence games. And reverts to falling over a lot. I have to say though at times his job has been pretty thankless, especially when we sit deep and thump...

That was as tough a run of 3 games as we'll likely get in this division. We all but matched Sunderland, and looked worth a win there. With Portsmouth unbraten at the time we played them, it was a tough ask. Maybe could have nicked a draw. And now we've beaten Charlton. It goes without saying...

    Maddison England Squad *CONFIRMED*

Pleased for him, his stock has been rising solidly both at Norwich and now Leicester, so I think it's deserved.

    Is it cheating?

Exactly the point People seem to be overlooking. Team orders have and always will be a part of the sport. There isn't a team that has ever raced in Formula One that would have done anything different. The simple truth is Bottas isn't in the title fight. Lewis is, and until its secured Mercedes...

Railway underpass an accident waiting to happen...

I've always said the same about away fans. Why not give them the stand which has the quicker motorway access, and gets them out quicker? Seems more logical to me and always has. As it is, I Never use the underpass if possible. Always use the footbridge further up.

Obviously would have taken a point before the game, but I'm actually really disappointed not to have all three. Two criminal misses by Chaplin. He has to do better with both of them. The second one especially could not have been a bigger gift. He may not get a better chance in the rest of his...

    Dreams that come true

I actually did once have a dream come true. I took a long time to learn to swim. Just never had the confidence. I used to go Cov Baths every week, but I just couldn't get up the confidence in myself to ditch my armbands. I hated it on a way, as my friends used to get to go on the slides, and...
