Think there is a difference between how players view it and how officials view it. How can a defender control himself in that situation if his arms are planted to his side? He'd likely do a collarbone or dislocate his shoulder.

The telegraph are a joke. They are so far in bed with the council, so it doesn't surprise in the slightest that they don't want to publish anything that might show them up. If only they were capable of some proper journalism, they'd realise their job should be to get right in the middle of it...

I should hope eyes have been opened somewhat. It needs to happen. People need to understand its both sides that are responsible for this situation, and nobody involved should escape questioning. If that's not going to happen now, you wonder what it would take.

There's nobody, SISU or Council, who comes out of this mess looking sparkling clean. Both sides have played their part. What recent revelations regarding the council have done is revealed the part they have played, and indeed continue to play, is far worse than certainly I'd understood before...

They've had how long now to formulate a response? And what they put out is completely minimal. What gets me is that you know if the situation was reversed and the council had leaked emails about SISU, what we'd have got out of them would have been much more damning and had much more content...

Unless I've missed it, still no direct response from the Trust itself. They've really missed an opportunity to attempt to change people's perceptions of them so far.

It's not so much that there has been a response, more that we know fully what that response will be, and these emails have confirmed it. Also, seems to me Matton is completely out of touch with the issue.

That's exactly what they're going to say. It's been their go to response all along, and what they'll continue to say ad nauseam knowing full well there are many who will give them an easy ride, even after all of this.

It's as telling as their last statement they put out that they then had to go back and edit to try and save face. We all know if this was reversed there would be no hesitation in them clambering all over it.

I'm afraid it only took a quick look at the comments section of the Telegraph story about this to confirm that, yep. Nothing will change, people have become far too entrenched. I don't know why I thought it'd be any different, to be honest.

All seems pretty damning for the council. They've been getting a comparatively easy ride from some, but that has to change now, surely? They're in it up to their necks. It's not like this is someone throwing around unsubstantiated claims they can't back up, either. The evidence is right there.

Taken on a recent visit to Kenilworth, maybe two weeks ago. Thought it made for a very interesting scene, looked very pretty too. Went back there Saturday just gone, and they were nowhere to be seen!
