Still confused by all the secrecy. After McGoldrick I don't want to dismiss his chances before seeing him play competitively, but I'm not convinced he's the answer. Can't see him fitting in alongside Clarke, and hope he's not a replacement......

It's always difficult to forecast the forthcoming season based on friendly matches IMO. I agree we desperately need CB's but also someone who can play up front with Clarke. Our Trialist striker looked to offer us nothing that Clarke can't do, although for a big lad he don't half hit the deck...

Wasn't there supposed to be a Dutch defender coming in too? He's not appeared in any games and haven't noticed any other players who could have been him.

He definitely failed to impress. Offered us very little one of the academy lads couldn't offer (Lojboit probably offered us more tbf) and kept going down too easily. Also did the foreign thing of going down holding any part of his body even if it hasn't been touched in an attempt to win a free...
