    Interesting article of Trevor Francis

‘A magical figure’: Trevor Francis on being the first £1m player, 40 years on Didn't realise that Cov were the only other club willing to spend £1m on him when Forest bought him.

    I'll say it

The thing is that Ponticelli rarely got in that position last season, it's completely unfounded to say he's guaranteed to score

Because it's no real foundation for a long term plan. In the short term OK but long term not.

Your moniker makes you sound like an aficionado. Praise indeed for the chippy.

    Doyle Leaving?

It's been demonstrated this season that he couldn't, well at least couldn't without significant detriment to the way Robins is trying to play.

I wanna try that little chippy across the road out, the one that's built into the row of houses. I can tell it's a good un.

    I'll say it

Yes, just like Man City get lucky with Aguero, United / Real / Juve get lucky with Ronaldo, Barca lucky with Messi.

    Burge

At that point in the game it's preferable to giving them easy possession back, but I understand your point

    I'll say it

We got promoted. If you look at the statistics for teams being relegated to league 2 we performed better than most. We weren't going to go from a team with a losing mentality to pissing the league in a summer. Robins did well last season and deserves at least this one. People need to live in...

    Wasps downward spiral...

It might be the training ground or could be something to do with European qualification? I think the training ground stuff is likely to be a red herring, especially as I think Daly was a player who had come through the ranks there. Their gates for the rest of the season will be interesting...

    Wasps downward spiral...

I assume there is a proper cost cutting drive going on now to try and claw back some of the annual losses. They're not happy: DrunkenWasps.com - Question-are we good enough to stay up next year or this??

    I'll say it

Come off it. His last few permanent signings: Rose Drysdale McCallum Westbrooke Chaplin Bakayoko Hiwula Mason Agreed that our better players are probably loanees, certainly Sterling anyway but I don't think we're quite as reliant on them as we were under Mowbray where we literally had a loanee...

    Burge

Burge would certainly be a loss, though I feel his part to play in the equaliser on Saturday came before Willis touched the ball. Burge had a set piece and instead of hitting the ball towards the corner flag, he hit it straight to their keeper. Long punt up field and the rest is history.

It's irrelevant you thick twat. Bournemouth are in the top flight and smashed Chelsea the other day. It means nothing.

Our record against Rochdale is appalling. They're having a crap season though and we should go there to win the game. Chaplin ahead of Hiwula for me, Hiwula is really poor with his back to goal. Chaplin for a small player holds the ball up reasonably well.

It equates to relegation fodder because we're playing ok on the face of it yet losing, a downturn in performance which will happen only makes things worse

Robins needs to answer this question?

I don't like writing players off but if only Widdrington had come back for him rather than JCH. Both shite but the latter less so
