    Les Sealey

All slightly before my time. When he came back on loan I remember him misplacing a kick to an opposition player (who were we playing?) and saving the resulting one-on-one...much to his obvious relief. I think he may have raised his arms aloft to the crowd and received a bit of an ironic cheer...

I loved the game he came back on loan for us. He played the role of pantomime villain to perfection.

    Two Tone Kit Problems

Ok. I’ll remember that. Where do you stand on putting trainers in the wash? I’ve been told that if I do so I should put them in a pillow case first? Also, should I leave my wife?

Some sound laundry advice there. Now here’s a question for you, if you put it in the wash would you wash it with your whites?

    Two Tone Kit Problems

Yeah, I’ve got a lot of clothes I’m very disappointed with.

    RIP Norman Hunter

I like at the end, when he blew-up, he gave a bit of a snort as if to say “right, bring it on”! I thought the commentary was wrong. To me it seemed like Leeds didn’t have “every right to feel aggrieved”...play to the whistle! Rule number. (In fairness he does acknowledge this also).

    RIP Norman Hunter

He was never offside! Although I’m not sure the bloke who scored wasn’t when the pass was made to him. The ‘gentleman hooligan’...gentlegan? Hooliman? Hooligent?...looked quite old for a pitch invader too. Although, even the players all looked about 55 back then!

    Oh yeah. I remember him...Southampton.

    RIP Norman Hunter

That Leeds team have legendary status. Before my time but I understand they earned the legend. In my time the ones that stick out are the likes of Terry Hurlock, Vinnie Jones, Souness, Kevin Muscat...I’m sure there are others. Not ‘thuggish’ enough for that Leeds team?

    RIP Norman Hunter

I thought the same. Had watched him on the telly loads and saw him score belters, foul loads of people but wasn’t sure what else he offered. I then saw him play live and was well impressed. Likewise Beckham, came on against at old Trafford (4-2) and made all the difference. Absolutely brilliant.

    Fanky Dabo OG

Ah yes. Wise words indeed. Does anyone speak Dutch? I am interested to know what the keeper says in his post match interview.

You don’t remember him at Liverpool?

    Get Shirty

Sounds worth a watch. Coincidentally just read this while talking with my dad and brother about the greatest kits. They’re Pompey fans. They reckon it’s their salmon pink kit from the late 80s. I’ll set them straight. Pompey idiots.

A picture says a thousand words

Chin up mate! In that time frame you’ve also seen us win an FA Cup and watched us playing top flight football for a fair few years. More than most, both on here and football clubs generally! I know what you mean though...

The news Showed Franny Lee repeatedly swinging for Hunter but not connecting. My old man reckons Lee was pretty tasty too...just half the size of Hunter.
