    PWKH on CWR?

Thanks for that. Like I said £89k

    Groundshare back on

The ground was never for sale, the only thing ever available was 50% of ACL on its 50 year lease. The Council wouldn't even countenance the thought of selling their half, they didn't even extend ACL's lease at the point of lending them the £14.4m, for some strange reason they performed a volte...

I think that ones a bit too far away mate tbf, even the EFL might not let that one go

The Butts is possible in August isn't it? The way I've read that is the club has virtually the whole season in which to meet the qualifying criteria.

Exactly, I said similar the other day on here. Wasps' beef should be with the council and they should have sought indemnity from the council as part of the deal.

Player of the Season - early contenders?

Hyam for me as well as he's came in and made the centre half spot his own. His distribution is very good too.

    PWKH on CWR?

Yep, and completely unchallenged by the useless local media

Misleading headline writing from the Telegraph, and a really poorly written article: I know in the dreamworld of the Nicky Eastwood Way and the Trust they'd love the EFL to punish the club by expelling them from the league, but in the real world the reality is that they'll need to show...

    PWKH on CWR?

To cover what I said previously, it is still a charity in as much as it does make grants in line with its charitable objectives.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Burton Albion Match Thread - Friday 8th Mar

I thought Burton looked a decent side when we played them, well organised, pressed us hard. I think their biggest problem is the same as ours, not enough goals.

    PWKH on CWR?

Can we stop this nonsense about them being a charity, they made donations totaling £89k last year from income of £1.4m. The Charity spends the majority of its income on running a bar.

    Accrington

Was a good day, I don't really know how anybody could prefer the sterility of a Premier League game over trips like that really. The Accy Ale in the ground was a nice pint as well.

At the point of them taking over they wouldn't fail it and still are unlikely to now. What objective measures could they include in the test that would realistically work?

Celtic Are They A Huge Club ?

They wouldn't get relegated, you seriously overrate the 14 dross teams in the Premier League

Agreed. The bigger issue is why such iffy individuals want to get involved in football in the first place.

Celtic Are They A Huge Club ?

Both them and Rangers are definitely in the top 10 biggest clubs in the UK, probably top 5 tbh. I think Celtic could make the top half of the Premier League, possibly Rangers too but can't see them breaking into the top 6 currently.

There is no reason why SISU would fail a fit & proper owners test, they haven't broken any laws
