As much as I think Sargent is probably the best CF in the division, his injury record isn’t great. Plus we are not going to spend £15m on a striker. If, and it is a big if, Wright goes, we will replace him with someone around £8m tops.

We have seen the level of Wright performance from Simms at least 15 times this season. He is so poor at striking a ball, that he wasn’t even considered for a penalty so that also ruled him coming on late the other night.
