As a Cardiff resident I’m led to believe he was a popular member of the squad...and was definitely popular with the fans. As has been said before, that’s a risk with signing anyone. Michael Doyle for example sounds like he couldve got in a fight in an empty room.

Yep. I think it was a poor ball from Giles. If he’d played it slightly shorter would’ve been a good chance of getting a shot on target.

Sheaf is deployed where he will inevitably see more of the ball. Be interesting to see how much ground Allen covered compared to Sheaf... I had high hopes for Allen last year...not really done it yet but tonight he made fewer mistakes and looked more confident. Credit him with having an improved...

I Thought Allen was decent tonight

I’m pleased to hear he got back into acting. We if course signed him from The Young Ones, where he played Vivian.

I remember his debut and talking to my dad about how good it was we’d finally replaced Downes (loved him but he wasn’t the best). After about 10 mins it was fairly clear the search for a decent left back would have to continue.

Great result.

I remember being impressed with him when he came on against Southend last season. Looks to be really skilful. I’ve got high hopes for him.

I’m not sure if he was on the bench or not against Rotherham but thought it would’ve been nice to throw a couple of youngsters on at the end.

Yep Ostigard was great tonight. He seems ‘proper hard’ too. Wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of him. Like a skilful, mobile Mo Konjic.
