That is someone having a dig at the club because we signed Marlon King basically saying we have a history of signing criminals so linked Barton with us as a joke. It wasn't a serious rumour just someone having a pop at our club.

If we can keep him fit he is premiership quality.

Mcfadden is a quality player, he may not score goals but he is class. He could play as a support striker or in behind the strikers. However he is injury prone with two major injuries keeping him out of most of the last two seasons I believe. Would be a great coup if we pulled it off but I doubt it.
