We seem to lack a bit of spirit.
Not even sure that is Thorn's fault either. Think a defeatist attitude has began to take hold and being in the bottom 3 since October must have played on the players' minds and had them thinking or doubting their ability to get out of this.
Facts from my post:
'many here were saying the Palace game was a must win.'
'At least 2-3 results went against us last night. '
' We felt before the game that we could well be out of the bottom 3 come the end of the night. We're still there.'
'That's yet another game gone.'
' We...
It goes without saying that i hope I am wrong.
Just think if I am right and have been right all along since Christmas, I will have had much longer than many on here to go through the grieving process and come to terms with it all. :)
May just open up a Sky Blue counciling service in the Summer.
Can I just say in conclusion (as this thread has appeared to irk some), most people were saying that Palace was a must win. We didn't win and most other results went against us.
Therefore we obviously didn't win and Bristol did and so did Donny. If Last night was a must win how come there is...
I am not allowed an opinion then? Not allowed to share my thoughts?
This is a football forum. If you don't like a thread you can chose to ignore it can't you?
Please do tell me where the moaning was in my thread? It was constructive, dealt with facts and tried to be calm and...
But Platt was injured. - Nothing to do with Thorn.
Clarke was suffering from cramp. - Nothing to do with Thorn.
Deegan was crap, so yes, Thorn got that right there in that one instance.
Can I just punch a small hole in your argument though, as Platt was injured and had to come off. Can't see how you can give any praise to Thorn for that. AT actually said Platt shouldn't have even been playing in the first pace as he was carrying an injury. Can't see how you can praise any...
The ref was dreadful.
He clearly gave a penalty though. there was no doubt in his mind. It was only our players going up to him and suggesting it was outside the box that then made him go over and check with the linesman.
An aggressive reponse because someone is accusing me of not supporting my team and that is something that does anger me somewhat as I have been a season ticket holder for many years, have never booed the team, players or managers and always back the team 100%.
That was what brought the angry...
Bcause history tells us otherwise. The lowest points total in modern history to stay up has been 43 points. So unless this is by far and away the worst points total ever you have at accept that teams will pick up points. Bristol won last night didn't they?
If these teams all continue to fail...
Yeah, have a go at the fans that aren't coming, not the ones who have season tickets, go every week, fully back the team but simply accept the facts and the likliehood of League One.
Have a go at those fans, not us.
