    Thorn got it wrong today...

Must say I was totally stunned when he said it. There was at least one game this season where Sheff and Bell were a disgrace and Thorn never publicly picked on them. Bottom line is you don't slate individuals in post match interviews, you do so behind closed doors.

    oh dear ROD

Good point there. As an opposition defender ROD must indeed be a rather easy player to mark. He is quite predictable and his first touch isn't great anyway. Hand on heart, how many goals do you think ROD is capable of this season for us? 3? 4? Think I would rather see another of the academy lads...

    Thorn got it wrong today...

But as said, there have been times when Sheff, Bell and Baker have put in disgraceful performances and have come off the field without a bead of sweat on them and nothing has been said. Bigi had a good game yesterday and made two innocent mistakes that cost. The sending off was a genuine attempt...

    Thorn got it wrong today...

Sorry, but a manager should never come out and publicly slate individuals. Tis done behind closed doors. Besides, Bigi is a young lad of just 18. Plenty of other players at fault yesterday for the defeat, but I notice Thorn didn't mention them. Been a few players put in performances where...

    oh dear ROD

ROD has proved unfortunately that he is a parks football player and nothing else. That kick and run that he did just after he came on was really really embarrassing and quite comical. Stuff you see 9 year old kids doing. He simply knocked the ball past the defender and then tried to run past...

    Thorn got it wrong today...

Thorn went over the top re Bigi for sure. Geoff Foster asked him how Bigi was feeling in the dressing room and Thorn replied "I don't care." He also blamed the young lad for Burnley's first goal. If he's going to be like that then he should have come out and totally hammered ROD for his air...

Next two games will be crucial to....

No, it's the New Den. Or where we are concerned, probably the Lion's Den.

    Thorn got it wrong today...

Agree, but i was talking about over the 90 mins. As you say, over the 90 mins we probably had about 3 clear chances. Burnley had at least double that. We are not scoring enough and we are not creating enough chances.

    Thorn got it wrong today...

But Thorn could have changed the game, or at least have tried to change the game by deploying differing tactics, i.e. making substitutions to try and alter the balance of superiority.
