Yeah, I don’t think he was that bad. We need to improve on him/he needs to improve but I could say that for most of our team.

He seemingly went from hero to zero in no time at all. Far exceeded my expectations in terms of competency. Prior to his first game, from what I read on here, I imagined that someone had essentially given Mr Tickle a pair of gloves and somehow he’d forced his way into our first team.

Yep. I think it’s sometimes difficult to separate the two, as their struggles may directly benefit us, but it’s rubbish for fans.

I don’t disagree entirely but What about the youngsters coming through and that most of the players we had last season are likely developing into established championship players?
