I didn't go to the Barnsley game but the two games before that in Reading and Blackpool we played the diamond to begin with, against Reading we played it for the whole game and against Blackpool we changed it pretty early on which was signs we hadn't prepared properly.

Yea I agree, Thorn is stubborn with his persistence in the diamond. We need to be able to adapt and play a variety of formations, besides I think Kightley would have fitted into the diamond anyway.
