I presume it was spotted by the match officials assessor, as had it been any of the other officials involved in te game it would have been picked up at the time (supposedly). But yes, the action has been taken 'retrospectively'

Pressley has stated we need to move quickly, so I can definitely see some coming in. I think we need a CB (whether that's Seabourne or someone else, we need to sign atleast one up), a midfielder who can come into the team and make a positive impact, unlike Barton seems to manage, and a back up...

What a silly thing to do! Shows retrospective action can be taken when the FA feel like it. Just a shame they don't take action on poor match officials.

Sounds to me like someone down the pub has put 2 and 2 together and got 5 just because Northampton are on the verge of going out the football league and our current predicament.
