I wasn't comparing our two situations, my point was his statement that Ferguson would lose every week with young players is flat out wrong.

Didn't Alan Hansen once say "You can't win anything with kids" when Ferguson bought in a new crop of youth into the first team all in one year, I believe UTD won the league and cup that year.

8k is more than fair if Ken is telling the truth, neither have been worthy of such wages this season. I suspect the contract is more like 5-6k with 2-3k bonus if Cranie scored 20 goals or something stupid like that.
