It’s quite easy to see why the three of them are a bit all or nothing. Both of our centrebacks are very comfortable on the ball and do take risks. Same with Collins as well. When it’s working, it’s great and gives the team a lot but it goes downhill very quickly when it goes wrong.
Wright looks way better on the left, easier for him to isolate defenders and we are playing more passes in front of him rather than with his back to goal.
This exactly.
I don’t really get the rigid points system. Let’s say we draw one of the big boys away in the cup, the tickets will sell out instantly but presumably people will still get 20 points- more than they’d get for the Sunderland game.
Am I going mad?
It’s a 3-4 hour journey two days before Christmas. Most people will be settled in for the period, or travelling around to see family.
If we’d got a more local fixture I’m sure it would’ve been better.
Brighton spent over £5m to buy him last Jan, they won’t be letting him leave for much less. I wouldn’t be happy spending even £1m on him right now.
Reminds me of when we had Lameiras, technical ability but struggles to actually contribute in games.
