I more or less said the same about Rose’s fuck up. Letting a ball go over your head as a defender is awful. But yeah, it was really frustrating watching our crossing/set pieces today. The thing that frustrates me most is Kane clearly can whip in a cross…try that every time!!

There were times when he held the ball up well, created space and laid it off well. Made some shit passes, and slowed the game down at times (sometimes not a bad thing) but still did a lot more positive than Godden.

What has happened to Kane’s crossing? That one where we had two over and he ‘shot’ was criminal.

Thought Waghorn looked ok. Godden was anonymous apart from fluffing our best chance. Rose was shite that half.

IF we are going to make the playoffs (we’re not), our fixtures are perfect. Yes we’ve got a really tough run of game but having the opportunity to take points off the teams around/above us is ideal. It’s kind of in our hands. It won’t happen.

I remember as a kid watching that ball on the telly, in the days when the BBC would show the test matches. Incredible…seemed to go at right angles. What a way to introduce yourself. Definitely one of the very best.

Well, I dunno about that…I think we’ve controlled games a lot this season, but yes should’ve scored more goals earlier in matches. Is that not just saying “I’d like us to score more goals” though?
