Keys has never said a deal is imminent as far as I am aware, just that things are ongoing etc. Keys have never said to my knowledge a deal will be completed in the next week with or without Hoffman's blessing. It is just rumours that are speculating a deal could be in the next week.

Hoffman won't lose credibility, these are only RUMOURS. If Hoffman comes out and says something will happen in the next week and then nothing then he would lose credibility.

I would say it would add 3k on initially and then it would depend on results on the pitch.
