Knew the world cup was going to be difficult for us, but the bigger issue for me was losing McFadzean during it. It's clear we miss the experience, leadership and overall presence he brings to the defence. We simply have nothing else in the team that can replicate that.

You wonder how some of these officials actually qualify for the job.

It can't be Dabo at centre back. Bidwell has done much better there when played there. Dabo, even by his recent standards, has almost certainly been at his worst for us when playing centre back.
