This early in the season the indicators mean nothing.
At this point last season we were bottom and Luton were 16th.
Burnley and Sheff utd were in the top 6 but none of the other 4 made the play offs.
That proves absolutely nothing, it could be the EPL is stronger.
It's very difficult to say whether a league is stronger or weaker from one season to another to be honest. And promoted teams doing poorly after playing 3 or 4 games each proves absolutely nothing.
According to many on here we blew...
Less points getting you into the top 6 could indicate the league was actually stronger!
As for lack of quality, look at the prices some of the players who played for top 6 teams have gone for recently.
Theres a trend on here that sees people trying to run down city's achievements to try and...
Wright's a totally different type of player to be fair.
And one who is looking more impressive each game.
Another hook up between the 2 of them for the 3rd goal as well........
It's the first time I've read it and the first paragraph is a bit baffling to be honest because we did, at times, mix it up and go long yesterday and I thought it was pretty effective with Wright looking a handful.
People keep saying we need a Hamer replacement, but this time last year we didn't have the same Gus that finished the season and dragged us to the play offs so hopefully he can develop over the next month or two and be that player we need.
After rinsing their wing back for pace in their first foot race MVE then started checking back when he received the ball, can't help but think he was under instruction to do so
Edit -think I've missed the point of Shmmees post!
Mate, your views pretty much align with mine, but when your trawling Will Keanes stats for Preston it's time to call it a day!
You'll still have convinced no one come the morning, but you'll still be right!
