It was GT. Way off the mark there. Platt was excellent.
GT also said you couldn't fault any of the back four tonight, where I would say that Clarke didn't have the best of games by a long chalk.
Did think Thorn should have brought a sub on to be honest, but luckily Leeds cocked up their own substitution and took a striker off and brought a defender on, leaving the initiative firmly in the Sky Blue court.
Did notice he had Bigi stripped off at one point, but then Nimely took a knock so...
8 out of 10's?
Not Baker and certainly not Jordan Clarke who was completely done a couple of times. He also said the quality showed through tonight. Not much quality out there from what I could see. More a battling performance and one of spirit and determination.
Thought Thorn talked a lot...
I think they should extend the league to 28 teams just so we can been even worse and 8 points adrift in 28th place.
Think that's it though. Wouldn't sya 'worse' but poor players, led by a poor manager and one of the worst ever boards.
Nah.
I would go to the game anyway and she knows I always would, but this is just a way of keeping her sweet.
Besides, she goes to bed at 8 as she is on a very early shift. By then we will already be 2 goals down.
Haven't told my missus either.
Why do you think I am sweating like mad in the kitchen at the moment trying to conjure up a special meal? :D
Ready by 5.30, eaten by 6 pm., tell her at 6.25 p.m., leave for the match at 6.30 pm.
.
Book a table late. That's if you can still get in anywhere.
Either that, or arrange a candlelit dinner at home for after the game. Tell her you will only be gone for a couple of hours and then she'll have you for the rest of the evening.
Think you need to make a grand gesture as a compromise.
