    Gunnarsson or Norwood?

so much for those who say we lost our best players. Seems overwhelming that Norwood gets the vote ahead of Gunnarson easily by a long chalk. I know Norwood was not here back then but a young Loanee way ahead in pecking order than our best player we sold Gunnarson? I agree of course...just...

    Tonight's games

I think fester will beat Forest...but then again. Pompey has a tough one with Hull still looking at play offs quite easily. But Hull's form dipping slightly of late. Maybe a draw. At the end of the day makes no difference really...we just have to do what we have to do and we will stay up.

Juke - not going down too well....

Not to argue the finer point of that but Juke was played as the main striker...the only striker when he was here responsible for most of the goal scoring required unlike Sheff who is played in the midfield or wide hardly ever as a striker. Apples for apples please...

DOES AT WALK ON WATER ??? - Issue (2)

It's a valid point shimmee but tbf what if we go down? Are you still prepared to think that way without question? Do we have the luxury of someone learning the trade? If it back fires then the answer is no. It was a mighty risk by SISU and they could have got some experience in and perhaps we...

Juke - not going down too well....

Disagree stupot it does appear they have built it around him. Even putting Emness on the bench. A lot of people on here are taking the moral high ground over Juke. For me I'm being critical of him as a footballer for us not on any personal level. he was indeed gracious and a fine young man who...

DOES AT WALK ON WATER ??? - Issue (2)

Can't argue with that. He's doing well at the minute it can be said. Caution though....a lot to do and it all would have been easier had he and the team performed better, sooner and had less of the 'played only one half' scenario's. It won't change my view though that a manager change...

Juke - not going down too well....

Got to say I've been consistent with the Juke all season. can't hit a barn door! The amount of chances created that he fluffed outweighed the ones he put away. Then study those and see what they were? He's a fine contributor and all that but the end product for his efforts were never matched...

    My run-in predictions ................

...but Otis some say Nimely was not very good Saturday? Would it make a huge difference to play Cody instead who's a natural goal scorer? For all his efforts did Platt get much joy or finish his chances? I was surprised the pitbull did not start for us against a side we needed to win and be...

    My run-in predictions ................

It's a funny old game and that's the problem. Best of all with our recent form it would be criminal if we went down now. We surely have enough in our tank to come out ahead here? It's whoever wants it now. Simple.

    success or failure

Keeping strictly to the question. If we stay up after flirting with relegation all season then it can only be relief but success is not a word to describe it. It's failure in anyone's book to be so poor for so long. As someone else rightly pointed out Pompey lost 10 points so if we scrape home...

Good value, 5 unbeaten, scored 4 in two games...

pretty good tbh. We surely will do enough to stay up won't we? Do you want it? Really want it? Second half again they looked like they did again.

    Thorn

the Juke always came in for criticism from me because for all his seeming ability he can't hit a barn door. At Boro' it's the same story....maybe they should have had Nimely back and save a lot of money?!

    Eastwood returns to Southend...

Houch...my eyes are watering! ....Reminds me of a girl I dated with a Russian accent and claimed to be married to a Sky Blue supporter and all he wanted to do was kill her. She said he told her he had loads of money from Superman movies and so she married him. Trouble was the money dried up and...

    Ward to be released...

I think it is a surprise and think y'all jumping the gun a bit. That report does not say that at all. It may have been the case earlier but recently Ward got back in the side and has been stalwart the last half dozen games so he may also be offered a new deal.

Thread for those who have believed we are doomed

With the fixtures remaining and the way we have performed and got results lately only a fool would back us to go down with certainty. IT'S WIDE OPEN GUYS...WIDE OPEN.

Thread for those who have believed we are doomed

Of course it's in our own hands in the sense you can be certain the others will also not win all their games either! As the fixtures stand conventional wisdom suggest it is very much in our own hands now.

rangers and Celtic in premier league?

It's about the overall average of attendances in the league. Without the top two the rest would improve along with their respective results from a fairer more balanced league. As for Tv rights etc why would they decrease without the top two? The league will be more competitive and the games so...
