Stevenage are playing some good stuff too, but are mainly big, strong and fast.
They would steamroller us if we came up against them playing like this.
Impressed with the midfielder they have, Freeman, mind.
I dare say there's some of that too. You're correct in saying there's something not right.
Just how many injuries have we been getting this season too!
If Stevenage play against us the way they are playing this evening and there are other teams in League One who play in this manner this then it's going to be one long, painful season for us I fear.
I agree, we need about 8-10 players.
More chance of hell freezing over than of that happening though.
Can anyone on here actually see us forking out for 10 players?
in some ways I wish today he had just not made any substitutions, so that when Sheff went off we just played with 10 men and then when Bigi went off we played with 9 men and when Willis went off we played with 8.
What sort of fookin statement would that have been! That would have got headline...
Think you are misreading me, Ash.
Saying Thorn should walk because the reassurances he's had will not reach any kind of fruition. We are all sympathetic to our plight .... everyone except for Sisu. I'm agreeing with you the squad was too weak. Been saying that since last August.
You saying he used the kids as pawns? :thinking about:
And anyway, do they even give a shit.
Thorn should walk. These promises of players coming in just ring very hollow to my eyes.
Well that's it in a nutshell. It's a disgrace that we had to blood 17 year old kids with no experience into such a game as this. That's what i find the most embarrassing. Not fair on the likes of Willis and Henderson and Roberts to be thrown into the lions den as we have seen this afternoon...
