Just found this List of Coventry City F.C. players - Wikipedia I thought about David Burrows but was certain he'd scored. Only other one on that list is a Jack Astley pre-war.

What about Peter Atherton? Just mentioned him on another thread and don't recall him ever scoring.

I seem to remember that we signed a player who had to go to tribunal and the figure the tribunal came up with was higher than what the team selling wanted. We avoided tribunals after that. May have been Peter Atherton?
