Would have much preferred Adam Johnson than Downing. Someone posted on GMK the other day that Downing's stats say he has had not one single assist all season for Liverpool. Downing is not international standard. Yep, sure, Adam Johnson is a bit hit and miss and not possibly quite up to it...

Not being funny, but why should we support 100% whoever is running the club? You would give an owner 100% support even if they were totally fooking everything up and were totally inept? :thinking about: Even if Sisu have changed their tact nown there is no way I will give 100% unwavering...

Even though they are both very young I think both Walker and Wilshere could have been very big players for us in this competition. Such a shame both will be missing.

Happy Anniversary! This time 25 years ago I was waking up in London to tea and toast and getting ready to set off. Was so keen I arrived at Wembley far too early and was at the stadium at 10 a.m. Had to cool my heels for about 3 and half hours and sit watching tumbleweed. :pointlaugh:

When I saw 'tickets for the Enemy' I thought there had been another fans forum arranged with Sisu.

I said on another thread that it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't sign any new players at all. Can see that with just a few games to go before the seasons starts us securing the loans of a couple of Premier youngsters (wages paid for by the parent club) and that will be about it. Said weeks...
