What are player insurance costs in this day and age? Can't imagine that's cheap....

Maybe my rough plan has lots of holes in it... but it's rough and does show an idea of what could be done. What it does show is that a new owner would have those kind of decisions to take.... unless they were happy chucking millions and millions at the club with no intention of getting it back...

If it was someone other than SISU proposing that plan people would be dribbling over it.

The plan should be.... Build a stadium on finance Use the increase in matchday/non matchday revenue to fund a more competitive squad. Gain promotion to the championship Find a way to increase revenue streams Gain (fluke if neccesary) promotion to PL Stadium finance paid off Owners (and club)...

I imagine things like this have been looked at and tried by other clubs.
