    Ponticelli

Bench might be nearer the team than he would have got here in my opinion.

So at 3-3 we made more use of our shots, corners and possession than them? For instance 3 goals from 9 shots compared to 18 shots to score 3. 3 goals from 40 per cent possesion rather than needing 60 per cent of the possession. Stats alone are bollocks.

    Ponticelli

I am not convinced about Ponticelli - however I think you are jumping the gun here. At least give the lad time to settle and gel with teams mates. Its early days.

    Any more loans ??

There comes a point where the squad is the squad. Several new players have barely played. New partnerships have not had time to gel. Lets save something for January when we might have a better idea of how we need to kick on. If you dont agree with this can I refer you to the Bury thread?

Sky Blue youth superstars who never made it...

Brought to the club when he was 17 and was highly rated as a youngster Tony Sheridan.

    Junior Brown to Scunthorpe

Good move for club and player. Shame it didnt work out here.

    Are SISU bad owners?

Yes for one main reason, their lack of transparency around their real plans for the club. Running the club to a budget and developing youth has improved and I support that side of things.

    Bury gone

I hope when some of our fans moan about all the transfer funds are not spent on players; they pause for a moment and think about Bury.

    What's the latest with Max?

I actually think its good if players are annoyed when they arent playing.

Gigg Lane still exists at the moment. The club hasnt been liquidated, just kicked out the league.

I concur with thoughts about Man City, Stoke, Derby, West Ham, Leicester, Rotherham and soon to be Everton. But I will give a shout out for Kirby Corner home of Coventry Sporting. A place I used to go when very young when Coventry were away. Transistor radio pressed to my ear of course.

Yes and fans then stop attending and wreck the business model. Fans are one of the most unstable assets in a football club. When you are in League 1 that unstable asset is about all you have; because the media and sponsorship revenue streams will be minimal.

No. Today is deadline but with talks on going extensions will be given. If EFL pull carpet I think they still give 14 days notice of final expulsion from league.

I have more sympathy with Bury to be honest. Bolton relegated around 2012 with 90m worth of parachutr payments. A benefactor wrote off 171 million worth of debt and put in a further 15 m to go forward with. He pumped in a further 5 m about a year ago before his death. Yet Bolton still seem to...

To be honest fans have a responsibility too. They fuel a lot of over spend too with their unrealistic demands. They applaud reckless spending when the team is winning then moan when it goes tits up. Fans follow a week to week kneejerk business plan.
