Anyway, get a couple more in before the window closes, win this and Oxford and suddenly things look ok again. For the first time this season I'm tempted not to watch and just check in at full time but I don't know if I'll be able to resist.
Can't think of any real examples of us losing out to those clubs from a fairly level footing. Sheffield United were having our trousers down when they were a shite prem team and a first year parachute team. Onyeka could be interesting as it seems like they and possibly Brum are interested too...
Swiss league is decent enough isn't it? Better than that Swedish league thats so trendy atm. Looks more exciting than Manneh with the added bonus of not having a huge medical issue that makes him completely unsignable. I also trust that his age is real.
We'd miss Rudi, although we really could do with him hitting his best form. I swear people forgot how we played with BTA in the '10' while he was out and for some reason acted surprised when the midfield was nowhere at Norwich. It was always a pretty suicidal tactic but it worked well for a while.
Tbh I know the quality of the Championship gets hyped a lot but theres still a shit load of clumsy cloggers. Players with proper pace and some skills can cause absolute mayhem.
Signing someone in a position that seemed totally unnecessary actually has me pretty positive we're signing players in more necessary positions also. Don't let me down Doug.
I think we need to know if its a chat with a history of having an itk in it or a chat with people who just post drivel they've read on here or Twitter?
I can't be arsed to make the meme right now but to all the Simpsons memers out there, just imagine Franks face on Homer and Dougs face on the demon...
Doug: so you like wingers eh?
Frank: aha
Doug: well, have all the wingers in the world hahahahaha
I like that he has a stat that has him as one of the best at something. Dribbling makes it even more fun. Every time we've got abroad 'statty' we've done ok. Thinking Hamer, Torp, MvE.
