    Juke

Looks like he has been working on his finishing, never scored more than 1 goal in a game for us. I hope he continues doing well

    Is it really that bad?

Positive I take is that we were better in defence yesterday, negatives we were awful in possession after 15 mins an the midfield and attack didn't press the opposition at all

Who else do we have for captain?

Murphy is the only other realistic candidate at the moment, not sure if he would be any good or not

Most unfit City i've ever seen.

Mark Robins has confirmed Mcdonald has an issue with his fitness http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/coventry-city-fc/coventry-city-fc-news/2012/10/02/coventry-city-john-fleck-a-key-man-for-sky-blues-says-mark-robins-92746-31947382/ “Cody is a good player,” said the manager who had the squad...

    Macca

He wasn't terrible last night, he played better than Moussa but since Moussa is the new boy on the block some people rated him as 7 and Sheff as a 4. He was still very average last night but wasn't as wasteful as I have seen him play before and put in a few decent crosses

    What was wrong tonight

I though Edjenguele was better, I was up the complete opposite end to the scramble so can't really comment on that. I'm not saying he played brilliant but he seemed the only one to me trying to communicate with the back line, pulling the back line up every time an stopping us from sitting too...

    What was wrong tonight

We barely had a kick of the ball after 20 mins Moussa was dreadful, couldn't pass a ball to save his life. Mcgoldrick wasn't much better tonight, took 3 or 4 touches to do simple things and couldn't hold the ball up. Moussa should have been taken off before Sheff imo Thought we defended well...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Yes I believe so, when they exit administration they will be deducted 10 points

Mark Robins, a manager saying it like it is.

You have every right to have an opinion on how he played in a particular game which I will not argue with as you were at the games However I think it is knee jerk an ill informed to form a general opinion and judge the overall quality player of the player after 2 games

    Ricoh must feel "more ours"

We definitely need to be more comfortable and play more freely at the Ricoh, hopefully this will go towards to that

Mark Robins, a manager saying it like it is.

An ill informed knee jerk opinion which was made after very little football for Fleck

    Worst Player

Why are people saying Baker, probably among our top 4 performers this season. Not saying much but there have been many worse performers than Baker
  14. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Best Player

    Mcgoldrick
  15. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Worst Player

O'Donovan Worse player who is around the first team, probably Brown. Worse player in terms of value for money, probably Wood or Sheff

    John Fleck

Sorry was just winding you up, you took the bait :p I think Jennings has done ok, not great. I don't see much difference in him an Deegan tbh apart from Deegan offers more of a goal threat. I get the feeling though Deegan wasn't liked much an may have been disruptive in the dressing room
  17. SkyBlue_Bear83

    John Fleck

Yea but he also said Jennings would be amazing
  18. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Carl Baker

Yes, I was. I like Baker but I wouldn't describe him as technically gifted though, he often lashes at his shots when in good positions. His crossing an passing is inconsistent an his ball control is patchy
  19. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Carl Baker

I don't think he is technically gifted, but he always keeps trying and is nearly always positive on the ball trying to create and go forward

Mark Robins, a manager saying it like it is.

Yea I can sort of understand Mcdonald to an extent as Robins has a system he wants to play and Mcgoldrick is deservedly ahead of Mcdonald at the moment, we could change formation to accommodate both but that is a different issue. I am also concerned about the CB partnership an that he has...
