Managers pick the team. Managers can set the tone by measures like what the players wear etc. This would include squad numbers for me because players are likely to want the same numbers and then you have to adjudicate. A minor detail but some managers like to manage the small details.

The real issue is what the hell is going on with the size of shorts this year? Are we playing US college basketball? They are at least 2 sizes too big and look ridiculous.

15% of Brits on holiday in August so our gate will be at least 10% down on the same fixture in any other month. So 11,000 tops.

Middle of six weeks school,college, and univ holidays. It remains a daft time to start the season. It was much better when the season began on the last Saturday in August. Everything about football was better then, of course. :claping hands::guitar2:
