I don't think that would ever be a choice. Eccles performed well alongside Hamer. If I had to have one or the other, then yes, it would be Hamer, but that isn't ever going to be a scenario .

Robins said he doesn't want players who only see us as a stepping stone, but that's a bit naive in my opinion. There are far bigger clubs than us who are seen in the same way, you just have to make it work for you.

So was told yesterday Sheaf does indeed want away and there's already been a bid rejected, (not sure if it was by the club or the player and his representatives), but the fee concerned was very good in my book so at least if we're going to lose him we'll be getting a decent whack for him.
